Boost Your Energy.

Eat a healthy diet. Eating a healthy diet is necessary to keep you feeling strong, energetic, healthy, and ready to tackle your day. Diet do play a big role in depression! Make certain to eat lots of vegetables and fruits, lean protein and whole grains. Cut unhealthy sugar and fats from your diet as early as possible. Eat with a purpose…don’t just grab whatever tastes great and is easy!

  • Healthy fruit and vegetables include: kale, broccoli, spinach, citrus fruits and bananas.
  • Healthy grains include: brown rice, quinoa, oatmeal and rye.
  • Good lean proteins with healthier fats include tuna, salmon, nuts and sardines (soy nuts make a great snack!). You can also try lean proteins like chicken and eggs.
  • Ignore junk food like crackers and chips. Even crackers that label themselves as healthy, like Wheat Thins, aren’t healthy any more if you eat half the box and are still much less healthy than a snack of carrot sticks!
